what is telephone counselling and is it effective?
Telephone counselling is very similar to face-to-face counselling however counselling sessions are conducted over the telephone. This type of counselling can be very effective and benefits are similar to those achieved from individual face-to-face counselling.
how does telephone counselling work?
Telephone counselling sessions are scheduled in the same manner as face-to-face counselling (i.e. week or biweekly) depending on the unique needs of the client. However, the main difference between telephone counselling and face-to-face counselling is payment for session has to be received prior to the session.
how do I pay for telephone counselling?
Each telephone counselling session is paid in advance and payments made via mail with a money order or through internet banking e-mail money transfer (instructions can be found on your bank's website if you have signed up for Internet banking). The e-mail cheque and the password need to be received (separately) by 6:00 P.M. EST the day before the session. |
